Our work follows a preservation-focused approach with coordination alongside architects and projects subject to Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) review.
If full restoration is not feasible, we also offer custom steel window replacement, designed to preserve your building’s historic character while meeting modern performance standards.

Our Restoration Process
Evaluation & Removal
We perform a free on-site assessment of your windows to check for corrosion and structural issues. If restoration is required, windows are carefully removed, and openings are temporarily protected for safety and weatherproofing.
If full restoration isn’t possible, we offer historic window replacement to preserve your building’s character.
Delivery to Our Workshop
Windows are safely transported to our specialized restoration facility in New Haven, CT, ready for restoration.
Restoration
Complete hardware repairs, rust removal, frame fixes, and thermal upgrades for durability, functionality, and energy efficiency, while preserving the original historic character.
Testing & Quality
Restored windows are tested for airtightness and watertightness, ensuring they meet strict performance and quality standards.
